MANIFESTO OF LIFE AND ART

Space, light, and form respond to the same pursuit.

I do not conceive creation from within the boundaries of a single discipline. For me, photography and oil painting are neither distinct professions nor separate paths, but different channels to transmit the exact same signal.

In photography, it is the direct recording of beauty, physical presence, and light creating forms with shadow as its accomplice. In oil painting, the pursuit delves into the unconscious: the canvas allows me to strip form of its earthly ties to explore surrealism, abstraction, and the mind's ideas that I could not otherwise comprehend.

At the center of this entire universe—regardless of the medium, scale, or support—dwells the same constant: the human being, the female figure. She is the muse, the axis of symmetry, and the enduring enigma. Through the lens, she is real presence and physical light; through the brush, she is dream, myth, and atmosphere.

I refuse the fragmentation imposed by contemporary haste. Light does not change its nature when it moves from the camera to the canvas or to the built space: it only changes its language.
